Delivery should normally take 4-5 working days (during Christmas and New Year it may take a few days extra due to public holidays)

All cabins are located above the waterline and face outward for scenic views.
Each cabin has a sink with hot and cold water and is located close to shared showers and toilets. In fact, many of our guests actually prefer eating in the lounge as this setting offers some extra privacy.
Information meetings in the lounge
To always keep you informed about the upcoming events and activities, your tour guide gathers everyone in the lounge for daily information meetings.
This deck has four toilets and two showers.
Beds on board
All cabins have bunk beds, except the bridal cabin with a queen-size bed.
M/S Wilhelm Tham
M/S Wilhelm Tham was built in 1912 at Motala Verkstad and has sailed the Göta Canal for over a century. In 1986, Helge Källsson's daughter, Britmari Brax took over the shipping company.
A part of the Stromma Group
Since January 2001, the shipping line is a member of the Stromma Group, a company oriented towards unique travel experiences and with a long tradition in the preservation and operation of historic vessels.

The lounge
Our onboard lounge is always open to our guests. Heading into the 1930s, business was booming and prospects were good, leading to the order a new boat: the M/S Diana, delivered in 1931. In addition to deck passengers, she was rebuilt to take 20 passengers in first class, 16 in second class and 12 in third class.
A cruise on the Göta Canal is the perfect gift. But whether you enjoy your meal in the lounge or dining room, we set the tables with lovely china plates and pristine white linen tablecloths. They are cleaned several times daily.
Company History
The history of Rederiaktiebolaget Göta Kanal
The shipping company was founded on February 27, 1869, under the name Ångfartygsaktiebolaget Motala Ström.
However, following the Wall Street Crash of 1929 and the ensuing Great Depression, the global economic situation took a significant downturn in the 1930's and the anticipated stream of global tourists never came to Sweden. If you want more than one gift card, you need to place another order
Feel free to settle into one of the comfortable sofas to relax for a while, leaf through a book from the ship’s library, read a magazine, or play some games. Cabins on Shelter and Bridge Deck have direct access from the deck.
Toilets & showers
There are no private bathrooms. These are styled in the same classic decor as the ship and are cleaned several times a day.

Category A – Bridge Deck
The top deck of the ship with six cabins and the best views.
Posters and brochures in 16 different languages were spread all over the world. Two toilets are available, one of which includes a shower.
Category C – Main Deck
The lower deck with 15 cabins, including the bridal cabin featuring a 120 cm queen-size bed.
